Share with Oscar are using Metigy to help healthworkers during COVID-19

20th April 2020

2 mins.

We want to wish everyone in the Metigy community health and safety during these extraordinary times.

While times are tough for business owners, we have been amazed by the Metigy community’s determination to get their business to the other side of this pandemic.

One of the businesses in our community of forward thinking marketers, Share with Oscar, is using Metigy to increase their reach in their appeal to share free parking spaces around hospitals and healthcare centres.

When they asked us to help get their message out there, we couldn’t wait to help.

“I’ve been a nurse for almost 9 years. I’ve seen some things, experienced some disasters but nothing has prepared me for this moment in time. On a good day, I would spend 30 mins seeking a car spot and a 10-15 minute walk to my work. Now I have to walk 4-5km.”

Whilst some of us are fortunate enough to be able to work from home and self-isolate to keep safe, our healthcare workers cannot. They are on the frontline putting their health and safety at risk. As you can see from the above quote, it is a challenge even to make it to work, let alone save lives.

If you or a friend live within walking distance of a hospital and have a vacant parking space, driveway,  business car park, garage or carport, please consider making it available for our healthcare providers to park during these challenging times.

As a community, we can each do our part to help and overcome this pandemic together and support our healthcare workers.

Thanks for your support.
