In this document, we will cover how to add widgets to your newly created dashboard.
First, create a new dashboard from the dashboard list and give it a name.
Now, go to the dashboard and add a new widget. This will start the process of adding a new widget.
1 : Title and Type
The title will appear at top of the widget so make it meaningful, especially if you are going to have a few of the same module. We recommend using a structure like “Facebook Audience Growth”.
Next choose the type of widget you want to create. The widgets are explained in the Widget Types manual.
Click CONTINUE to start setting up the data.
2 : Create a Dataset
To show any information in a widget, we need to setup a dataset. This is the information that will be fed into the widget. Click SETUP DATASET to continue.
2.1 : Data Source
The first step is to decide where the data is coming from. Is it Your Brand or a Competitor? This option isn’t available for all widgets.
2.2 : Choose data source locations
Next we need to decide where the data is coming from. For this, the available locations are listed (1) and you can choose to add(2) or delete(2) from the selected(3) list.
2.3 : Name the Dataset
And finally give the dataset a name. This is a reference in case you want to re-use it later.
3 : Choose the time range
The time range is the period over which you wish to report. Some are rolling time frames and others are specific such as if you want to create a report about a specific campaign, for example.
4 : Choose the theme
And finally the colour scheme to use. These are good to help you group data visually by platform for example.
5 : Save
Once you’ve finished the setup, press the CREATE WIDGET button, and you will see your newly created widget on the dashboard, ready for Resizing and Repositioning.
