Changing the status of content / Approving

To change the status of a post, click on it in the timeline, then on the small arrow in the top right.

This will open the status change menu with the available options.

Clicking on an option will then either present a tick or cross, or a feedback panel. The tick will confirm the action – in this case, submit it for approval – and the cross will cancel the action.

In situations where feedback can be provided, such as why you have rejected content, a text area will appear to type a message in. Once you are happy with the response, click SUBMIT.

Below is an example of a post awaiting approval.

Failed and Part-Failed explained

There are several reasons for posts failing, but the usual cause is due to a platform token being expired – see the help document, Tokens Explained.

When a post fails, you will receive a notification email telling what failed and why.

Also, in The Hub, the status will change to this:

And in the content preview panel, there is a now new section at the end explaining what Failed. In the case of tokens, there is a link to go and renew the token.

Once you have resolved the issues, if it was an issue such as the 3rd party network having issues (Facebook, LinkedIn, and others do occasionally have outages which Metigy cannot control), you can click Retry:

That will instruct SCRM Hub to try the publishing process again, as soon as possible.
