What a great way to end 2017, being awarded "Best Marketing Technology Company of the Year!".
We are very passionate about what we are doing, so it does not take a lot to get excited when others acknowledge our effort. So you can imagine how we felt when Metigy was announced as the winner at the 2017 B&T Awards at the Peninsula in Melbourne last Friday night.
B&T is one of Australia's premier Marketing and Advertising industry publications, bringing the very best of industry insights and trends to light via a world-class editorial program. In that context, the awards are hotly contested by everyone in the industry and there is fierce competition for the win.

It is a great time for me as the CEO, to acknowledge the wonderful team I work with and all their incredible efforts to make this a reality. Nothing is possible without a team of bright capable people who believe in what they are doing, and it is amazing what happens when you get that right.
While accolades are not why we started Metigy, nor what gets us up and focused every day, they are a great acknowledgement that we are doing something right. And a great motivation to work harder to achieve our vision for a product that changes the way the whole marketing function works. We are working hard to support novice marketers master social marketing, and to empower professional marketers to achieve results in real-time, the likes of which they always knew they could if they had the insights and detail to extend their creative ideas fully.
It is a lofty goal, but we felt one step closer on Friday night. We have finished celebrating now and are back at work, but what a great moment for reflection on our hard work to date.
