The Metigy team are really excited to announce the appointment of Alex Mackenzie-Torres, to our Board of Advisers. This is our first US-based appointment
Aside from being incredibly inspiring, he has a wealth of tech industry experience.
Alex currently serves as Head of Product for the Toyota Research Institute in Palo Alto, CA. Prior to that he launched 5 products for Google worldwide and worked in the startup world as CMO for Moovit.
Alex will be working with us to advise on the ongoing evolution of Metigy, applying the thinking and discipline gained from launching multiple products for Google.
He has already been incredibly helpful at a strategic level, advising us over the last twelve months on key elements of strategy. The formalization of this relationship marks the next phase in working together, as he helps us capitalize on our early progress in the US market and formally open an office in the US, which is a process he led for Moovit in their move to the US.
It has already been a great working relationship, and we are very pleased to be formalizing this for the long-term.
